From site visit to quotation PDF

  1. Record the project. Add client and company details, then create rooms or work areas for the actual site.
  2. Describe the scope. List each cabinet, wardrobe, TV unit or other work item. Include material, finish and hardware specifications in descriptions.
  3. Enter measurements and your rates. Use a consistent measurement basis. Review quantities and item totals before promising a price.
  4. Review commercial terms. Set applicable tax and discount options, and include payment terms and exclusions.
  5. Export and share. Generate an A4 or mobile-friendly PDF with your company details and logo. Keep a dated revision when the client changes the scope.

You can work in a browser on Android, iPhone or Windows, or install the app as a PWA. An internet connection is needed for account access and cloud operations.

Which contractor workflows does it support?

Common interior contractor tasks
WorkHow to organise the quotation
Carpentry and joineryGroup kitchens, wardrobes and storage by room. Describe the board, finish and hardware for each item.
Interior fit-outSeparate work packages so quantities, rates and exclusions remain visible to the client.
Repeated work itemsReuse saved item and rate lists, then check them against the new project's specification.
Client changesDuplicate or revise the quotation and share the updated PDF for approval.
CollectionsRecord client payments and create receipts. Review outstanding amounts against the agreed terms.

The app calculates the values you enter. It does not provide supplier prices, automatically measure a site, or decide the right material or tax treatment for your contract.

Excel format or quotation app?

Excel is useful when you need custom formulas or already have a spreadsheet workflow. Check formulas whenever you insert rows, and keep a separate copy for each revision. A quotation app is useful when you want reusable work items, consistent room totals, company branding and PDFs prepared from your phone.

You do not need to replace your supplier costing sheets. Use them to check your input rates, then prepare the client-facing scope and quotation in DesignQuote.in.

Plans and trial eligibility

The quotation app offers a 30-day trial for eligible new users, with one trial per browser or PWA installation. Current subscription options are ₹199 monthly, ₹699 for six months and ₹999 for one year. See the live pricing section before subscribing.

Already using the app? Share your personal referral link from Settings. After an invited friend makes their first successful subscription payment, both accounts receive 30 bonus days. Sharing a public guide does not attach a personal referral code.
